The 2020 EPA PhD Prize was awarded to Bogdan Dereka for his work on “Excited-state symmetry breaking: from fundamental photophysics to asymmetrical photochemistry” under the direction of Eric Vauthey at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). Bogdan Dereka is now postdoctoral researcher at the University of Chicago (USA) in Andrei Tokmakoff research group.
The thesis manuscript is available open-access here on the Open Archive website of the University of Geneva.
