The IX Ciamician Photochemistry School: From Fundamentals to Applications will be held June 6 to 9, 2022 at Navile Campus – University of Bologna, Italy.
The Group of Photochemical Nanosciences at the University of Bologna organizes the IX Ciamician Photochemistry School: From Fundamentals to Applications with the support of the Italian Photochemical Group (GIF), the Interdivisional Photochemical Group (GIdF – SCI) and the SolarChem Interuniversity Center.
It is an introductory course designed for graduate and PhD students, as well as researchers from academia and industries.
The main topics that will be discussed concern:
- theoretical aspects of electronic absorption and emission processes
- photochemical techniques and steady-state and time-resolved spectroscopic measurements
- application of photochemistry in the field of bioimaging, light harvesting antennae, molecular machines, organic reactions, solar energy conversion and medicine.
Registration fee is 120 euros and the deadline is: 30th April 2022.
The maximum number of participants is 90 and registration will be based on first come first serve basis.
