Frequency: Biennial, even years

Requisites: The candidate must have defended his/her thesis in the two years before the year of the award. The candidate must be nominated by an EPA member. The candidate does not need to be an EPA member.

The nomination package should include:

• Curriculum Vitae of the candidate
• Copy of the thesis
• Abstract of thesis in English, no more than five pages
• List of publications arising from the thesis
• A letter of support

Award: Prize certificate / 1000 EUR / Travel costs to the award ceremony up to 500 EUR. Three free years of EPA membership. Short talk (15-20 min) at a large photochemistry conference, typically PhotoIUPAC, in a plenary session

Deadline for submission: 28./29. February of even year.

Timeline of the award: Announcement of the laureate in the spring. Award in the summer
