263rd ACS National Meeting

The day long symposium, titled Illuminating the Field of Photophysics: 101 years of Michael Kasha, will be held at the 263rd ACS National Meeting in San Diego, CA on March 23rd with a celebratory cocktail reception following the lectures.
The day long symposium will honor Prof. Kasha’s prolific career/legacy, and our speaker list contains numerous spectroscopists dedicated to the development and application of new spectroscopic equipment, including impactful researchers like Mark Thompson, Jack Saltiel, and Kirk Schanze, as well as a reflection on Prof. Kasha’s work by his son, Nicolas Kasha.
The Symposium Organizing Committee will be pleased to have some EPA members in attendance.
