The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the photochemistry community beyond research, including, but not limited to, service to the photochemistry and photophysical community, the diffusion of the relevance of photochemical and photophysical sciences to science students at all levels, and societal or political engagements on behalf of the community. This prize will be delivered every two years.

Call for nominations is Closed
Frequency: Biennial, odd years
Requisites: Statement describing the merit of the contribution to be recognized as an outstanding service to our community. Supporting letters may be submitted directly to the EPA President. The candidates should be members of the EPA when they are nominated for the award.
Award: Prize certificate / Medal in recognition of service to our community / Registration fee to attend the photochemistry conference where he/she receives his/her award.
Deadline for submission: 31.12. of even year
Timeline of the award: Announcement of the laureate in the spring. Award in the summer.
Award ceremony: At a photochemistry conference in a plenary session.
